Hello from your Waveland, Mississippi mission outpost!
I would like to make you aware of an opening we have here at the Christian Life Center. We are in critical need of a Kitchen Manager! Filling this position is crucial to our work as we seek to impact both the community of Waveland, MS and the continuous groups of volunteers who spend time here. We have a vision to continue the volunteer work for the next 2-3 years but cannot do so unless we have long term volunteers on mission with us!
Kitchen Manager Responsibilities:
· Planning and preparing meals for 10 to 50 volunteers (5 days/wk)
· Planning for and purchasing adequate food supplies
· Delegating camp clean up tasks to volunteers
· Keeping kitchen clean and organized
Kitchen Manager Requirements for an individual or couple:
· A heart for domestic missions and for the poor.
· A commitment to staying with us for 6 months to a year
· A desire to serve the volunteers, staff, and community
· Previous cooking and kitchen experience a plus!
We are able to provide room and board and are looking for a start date of March 17th.
